I know it would be a sacrifice, but every BBQ stand needs to be made into an IPED (improvised pork explosive device). But after cooking up plenty of rations and gifts for the visitors first. Roadside IEDs in buckets of lard. Feral pigs herded or baited into their camps. Water Moccasins and rattlesnakes dropped by drones on them. Feminine hygiene products, used or not, left in sniper hides to make them think they are being killed by women.
For the Nazis, access ancestry sites and add black and Jewish ancestors to their leadership then share the links to their followers.

He had sent men and equipment down to NCWEBNUT and they were making great inroads against the Muslims and keeping them near the coast. NCWEBNUT had been using unconventional ways against the Muslims. He dipped every bullet in pig lard, local crop dusting planes were modified so that they were able to spray liquid pig lard on the Muslims. One of the best pilots was a man whose call sign was Niner Indigo Delta Romeo Romeo (9idrr). He made many of a low level sneak attacks on the Muslims, spraying pig lard and dropping pig chitlins over the Muslims while laughing over a loud speaker.
Dead Muslims had been buried by their comrades, but the locals had turned herds of pigs into their graves. The Muslims just wanted to go back to the Middle East. Since they no longer had political protection from the old US government, they weren't faring so well.
Dave's troops were showing no mercy to the Nazis. Since China was no longer in position to help the Nazis, they didn't have as much manpower. Still there had been a lot of Nazis. A lot had been stationed at “closed” US military bases and in many underground bases that the US government had denied existed and was only a figment of conspiracy theorists.
Many other Nazi troops were shipped in by boats and planes through Canada and Mexico as their staging points. Now, there were a lot of good people in those countries but they had been disarmed years ago and had no weapons. As Nazis were killed, Dave had those weapons funneled to Mexicans and Canadians that would fight against the Nazis.
Any country that was still allowing Nazis to operate from them, Dave was still attacking them with missiles and cutting their supply lines. Inbound supplies to those countries were almost nil now. Dave's policy was if someone helped the Nazis, they were an enemy and paid the price for that.

3 years into the war and there was a lot of damage on both sides. Several major cities in the US were almost leveled and a bunch of cities throughout the world were now rubble. No more fancy foods at the stores any more. Locals were growing food and selling it. Most meals were now made from “scratch”, no more popping ready made meals into a microwave.
The Nazis were on the run and losing battles at every turn. Dave was hoping that the war would soon be over. He hoped to be able to stamp out this Nazi evil and not allow it to regrow again. But he knew evil was like the mythical Hydra beast with many heads, that when 1 head was destroyed, 2 more heads grew in its place.
The US people had stepped up now that corruption had been cut way back. Scrap metal was being recycled into needed things, both for the war and for people to use. Family business were back and flourishing. Families were once again united and standing strong.
The Nazis had been pushed down to the Carolina and boxed in with the Muslims. The fighting was brutal for weeks but finally the remaining Nazis and Muslims boarded ships to evacuate them. Once at sea, Dave ordered his Naval ships and submarines to sink every one of them. Torpedoes were launched and ships went down. Many were killed but there was still a good many alive in the water. 9Idrr took advantage of that and made many passes over them spraying pig lard. Between the pig lard and blood in the water, soon there were many sharks feasting.
Some countries denounced Dave's actions against those poor peaceful Nazis and Muslims, as being brutal and inhumane. Dave pushed some buttons and launched more missiles and those countries no longer existed.
Presidential elections were being held, Dave would soon be able to leave office and go on with his life.

Dave was a free man. Elections were over and his replacement was finally in office. His farewell speech to the new President and the US people was given. He urged them to be vigilante against evil at all levels of government, because evil never rested. Yesterday he, Mike and Li had hit the road in the used RV that he had bought. York had not come along. He had 2 more years to go to make his 20 years in the military to retire, plus there now was a woman in his life.
Dave was looking for his new farm where he could live a quiet life growing crops and raising livestock. With Li being a widow and having a child, (a boy named Ming) she decided to come along and still watch over Mike. He pointed the nose of the RV towards the Appalachia where he would look. He liked that area and that lifestyle. He still had his FAL and lots of ammo, Li had her M16. They would drive the backroads looking, stopping and asking about places when they saw people or stopping at eating places and asking, while they ate. Real estate people and Clyde were still looking for a place for him but none of the places they told him about were secluded as much as he wanted.
Drifting all over the Appalachia for 2 months, they were on some back road that wasn't even listed on the road map. They stopped at a small road stand selling food. They were the only customers at this time of day. While eating, Dave asked his normal questions about any off the track places for sale. The young woman that had served their food, looked at her brother who was doing the cooking, then at Dave.
She said that she and her brother, pointing at the cook, had a granddad that had an old run down place way back in next to a State forest area. He was old and could barely move around. They wanted to bring him to live with them but had no money. She said it was a 20 acre farm with 10 acres of that as cleared fields. The cabin was very rundown. Dave asked when he could see the place and was told they could take him in an hour when a cousin could come watch the diner.
Dave was assured that his RV would be able to get there – if he took it slow. Over an hour later they arrived and he saw an old man step out on the porch holding an old double barrel shotgun. The woman and her brother got out and talked to their granddad, who lowered his shotgun. Dave, Li, Mike and Ming got out. The granddad said he wasn't selling if they Dave was wanting to turn the place into condos. He assured the man he wasn't, he wanted a quiet place to farm.
The old man looked at Dave for a minute and Dave held his eyes. Then the old man got up and showed them around. It was 20 acres, a good 10 of it in fields that was starting to grow over. They would need brush hogged. The closet neighbor was 3 miles away, in winter time there was no snow plowing done and no mail delivery, it was picked up at the post office 10 miles away.
There was a small creek that ran all year and a spring. No indoor plumbing and no septic. Dave and Li picked up handfuls of the field dirt and it looked fertile, not all worn out. The old man said he used to have chickens, pigs and a steer but it had got to be too much for him, so he had quit raising them a few years ago. The man said his grandchildren wanted him to move in with them, which was closer to a town.
Li, Mike and Ming were with the young man and woman, talking a distance away. Dave asked how much was the old man wanting for the place. He was told a price and Dave knew it was below the value. Dave told him so. Looking at Dave, he said he knew. That also he only knew of one man named Dave with a missing left hand, Mr President. Dave smiled and said he was no longer President. The old man said “maybe not, but you did this country a great service.”
Dave insisted on paying a fair price. The old man wanted the RV so he could have some privacy from his grandchildren plus some gold coins. They shook hands on it and Dave now owned the place. They would go to the courthouse tomorrow and transfer the deed.

Dave bought a used Suburban and camping gear. He hired a local construction company to come in, dismantle the old cabin and build a new 3 bedroom cabin on a full basement. A well driller sunk a water well and another company installed a septic system. Mike and Ming loved the camping out. Dave didn't really mind it and Li, she was okay with it but was looking forward to when the cabin was done. Thankfully it was late spring so the temperatures weren't too cool.
He had another company build some livestock buildings for chickens, pigs and steers. Mike had found that the creek had some fish in it and loved fishing. That gave Dave an idea and he asked around about someone to put in a pond. The company was good and soon a 1 acre pond was put in. He had fish fingerlings shipped in from a hatchery and stocked the pond.
Li worked right with Dave in doing things on the farm. He found himself watching Li more and more. He found her attractive. He also noticed that she was watching him too. They often sat around a small fire in the evenings as the boys ran around catching fireflys and having fun. One evening, sitting near the fire, he looked at Li, took her hand and cleared his throat. Li saw the look on his face and her heart started beating faster. He told her she had been at his side for years and he would never find a better woman, that he had grown to love her. He asked if she would be his wife and she squealed yes. That stopped the boys from their running around and they looked at them. Hand in hand, they told the boys about becoming husband and wife. The boys cheered and then went about their play. That night Dave and Li shared the same bed for the 1st time. The next day they went to the local preacher and were married.

Over the years, they developed the farm to where it was providing a lot of their needs. They remembered what they had went through and stored provisions for any future trouble. Even though Dave and Li did a lot of practice, they never had any children.
Mike and Ming were adults now. Mike had moved to his mom's farm and was farming there. Ming had found a small place of his own. Both were doing fine and had a woman in their life.
As the years went by, corruption was slowly spreading across the country again. The President and VP that had been elected after Dave (NCWEBNUT and 9idrr) had done a great job of defending good. But over the years people had stopped their vigilance against evil. In the area Dave and Li lived, it was still very free but slowly it spread again.
50 years after the war, both Dave and Li had died. Evil and corruption were once again firmly entrenched over the land. People had made compromises and chose the “lesser evil” instead of standing firm and saying “no evil.” Plus all the “free things” being given by the government. There was now even a Ministry of Truth in the US.
History books were even re-written, saying Dave was just a hillbilly gang leader, racist terrorist that fought against the peace loving Nazis. “Political correctness” was everywhere.
The White House was now painted in rainbow colors. There was no such thing as a man or woman, nor a family. Those terms had been outlawed. Statues of old heroes racist terrorists had been torn down. Christianity was now illegal and any one claiming to be a Christian was hunted down and killed. Mother Earth worship was the official government religion and everything was closed down two days a week to give Mother Earth a rest. In fact there were no elected government, corporations made the laws that people were to follow and obey.
One day a young man who had been a blogger before his site had been shut down because of his radical free thinking about independence and freedom, was wandering the halls of the Rainbow House. His social credit score was very bad, so he wasn't allowed to have a job or a small apartment to live in until he attended a re-education camp to cure him of his disease. He rummaged food out of dumpsters or “found” things.
In one hallway he saw construction going on. It had a lot of old paintings in it and the walls had a lot of what looked like bullet holes. The workmen were putting putty in the holes and taking down the paintings. The young man asked what was going on and what they were doing with the paintings. They told him they were fixing things and the paintings were trash.
There was a painting of a tree and when he looked closer, it had dark reddish brown platters on it. Scraping with his fingernail, it appeared to be dried blood splatters. Other paintings were of old men that he vaguely remembered the names – George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E Lee, etc.
The young man asked if he could have the paintings but the workmen said they had to be trashed. He told them to not not destroy them, he would be back shortly. All money was now digital but he returned with universal men's currency, 2 cases of beer. The workmen looked around for bosses, then took the beer and turned their backs.
The young man walked away with a dozen “junk” paintings under his arm. He blended into the shadows as he remembered something about the tree of liberty needing to be watered......

I've had both lenses replaced & now have near perfect vision.
I do have to have readers though.
Don't be surprised if one eye seems to be looking uphill when you first look through it, it will straighten up quickly.
I've also had the membrane behind the lenses perforated by yag lasers because they will cloud up like a cataract. The laser treatment itself takes about 2 minutes and vision is perfect again. It's been 4-5 yrs and I'm still happy with it.
And, nothing about it is painful.
