Satellite image showed all military targets were destroyed in both countries. Everyone was cheering when the alarms started going off. Radar was showing 30 missiles coming from Germany and heading for the US. The missiles were tracked and intercepted and destroyed over the Atlantic Ocean.

More alarms sounded and radar showed 100 missiles inbound from Antarctica. Dave's asking questions of who has missiles stationed in Antarctica? Then he remembered those wild stories on the internet about Nazis having escaped there to military bases already set up there during WW2.

The fact is he had 100 missiles inbound from there. Most were intercepted in mid air, but 1 hit in Mexico City, turning it into rubble. Another hit a few miles outside of Norfolk VA, doing a lot of damage to homes and business but missing the Naval base.

Another hit the bay near New York City, sending sea water and fish flying over the city. Two hit in the mid west, tearing up farmland. 1 hit the naval base near San Diego, Ca but only 1 ship had been docked.

A missile had overshot and landed in Quebec Canada. Ironically destroying several thousand Chinese troops that had been there for military drills with Canadian troops.

The countries of the world were in an uproar, wanting to know what was going on. When told about the new 4th Reich of Nazis, they all told the US was on its own. All except for Russia. They remembered WW2 and promptly leveled Germany with missiles. Then moved troops in to annex Germany as part of Russia.

Dave was talking with his advisers about responding to the barrage of missiles from Antarctica. One person code named Freebirdie reminded Dave of the kinetic energy weapon satellites over the polar areas. Their weapon systems would even be able to penetrate to any deep underground bases.

Satellite image was just showing cast amount of snow covered ground with scattered overhead clouds moving. Where is the bases? His IT team put their computer programs to analyze the images. Shortly the program revealed the images were false and replayed the same view over every 33 minutes. Something was interfering with the real image.

Dave was on his computer and the IT team was using theirs. It took 30 minutes but they were able to uncover the hack in the satellites and take back control of the satellites and weapon systems.

Using the real satellite imaging, they were able to locate 2 deep underground bases that the computer programs were able to back track the missiles from. Dave gave the command to start the kinetic weapon systems on all 6 satellites over Antarctica and lock in on the underground bases. Views from another satellite showed the weapons deploying.

Dave watched as the kinetic weapons hammered the underground bases. Soon he saw smoke rising from cracks in the ground, then could see flashes of explosions. Missiles were launched from there towards the satellites but as the missiles flew through the kinetic weapon beams, they were destroyed. Flights of jets came out of the mountainside but were destroyed. The bases were destroyed, it seems the 4th Reich of Nazis weren't as good of a “master race” as they thought.

A few minutes later, the guards at the front door called, saying there was a problem. Dave could hear lots of loud voices in the background as the guard was talking.

Dave and his group quickly made their way to the front door, carrying their weapons at low ready position and on high aleart.

Arriving there, they saw 250 or 300 women standing on the front lawn. Seeing him, the woman got all excited and started calling out “hi Dave” and waving at him. Dave stood there with a very confused look on his face. The guard said the women were here to see him since he announced he was now single. Dave was muttering to himself “this can't be real, this can't be really happening.” The guard just grinned and said most men would have a swelled ego to have 300 women chasing after him.

His advisors told Dave it was in his best interest to at least talk with each one, thanking them for their interest and for coming. He looked out over the crowd and saw A LOT of bare flesh exposed around the skimpy clothes. He saw women of every race there – white, black, brown, red , yellow and mixtures in between. There were women barely looking to be age 20 to age 70. There were tall ones, short ones, thin ones and chunky ones. There were all colors of hair, including colors that weren't natural hair colors.

Back in the Appalachia, Granny had on the TV news and it was showing all the women wanting to meet Dave. Granny was laughing at Dave's predicament while Mae got angry and was calling all the women hussies. Granny told Mae to shut up, she had that good man and threw it all away because she had an “itch” that she wanted someone other than her husband to scratch. Mae angrily stomped out of the cabin.

Dave started the task of saying hi to each woman. Many of the women had pies, cakes and casseroles that they gave to him. All of them were giving him a card with their photo, name and contact info. Dave was politely taking the food and cards.

It took hours before he was down to just 2 women left. The one had a deep dish apple pie which she gave him. Dave asked if she had baked it and was told no, that she didn't bake, cook, etc. That her step sister behind her had made it.

The woman left and it was just 1 left, the step sister. Dave looked at her and saw a thin woman about age 30, long light brown hair and blue eyes. She was dressed in modest clothing, not exposing flesh. She was stepping past him to follow her step sister when Dave asked her name. It was Cathy. He asked her wasn't she going to give her contact info like all the rest – no. He was intrigued and asked why not.

She told him that she respected he had just lost a cheating wife and would be in no mood to look at another woman. And that she was just a plain looking woman with no curves to attract a man, unlike her step sister who was pretty and curvy.

Dave asked her story. Her parents had died when she was young. Her aunt had taken her in and Cathy had been doing all the work for her aunt, uncle and step sister. She had only come along to DC to serve her step sister.

Dave studied Cathy's face for a moment and then asked her if she would like to come work for him as an employee, not as a servant. In surprised shock, she stood there and then finally choked out that she would like to work for him. Dave asked where her things were, to move them her. She said she was wearing everything she owned. Dave asked Li to see that Cathy had more clothes and anything else she needed. Cathy stared around in wonder as Li led her through the White House to a room she could use.

After changing into some other clothes, Cathy wanted to jump right into working but Dave told her that could come later. Instead he took her on a tour of the grounds, showing her the gardens and livestock. She marveled that he had converted the lawns into useful things, unlike a lot of other high society that wanted big lawns for show.

Dave noticed she seemed to enjoy throwing some scratch grains to the chickens. She didn't shy away at the smell of the pigs, as Dave scratched one of them behind the ears. When it was time for supper, Dave invited Cathy to dine with him.

At supper it was Dave, Cathy, York, Jones, Lian and Li. Cathy saw it was a simple meal of ham slices, baked beans, wedges of corn bread and turnip greens. There were pitchers of milk and some of ice tea to choose from. In the center of the table was the apple pie she had baked for her step sister to present to Dave.

Looking around the table, she saw everyone was dressed informally. But weapons were leaning on the wall behind each person, including Dave. Bandoleers of rifle magazines were draped over the rifle barrels. Looking at Dave, she could see why his people respected him.

At different times during the meal, Dave pushed items to her with his stump of left arm, to see her reaction. She didn't seem to mind, even touching the stump where his left hand used to be, as she took the passed item. When everyone finished it was time for dessert, her apple pie.

It was cut into 6 pieces and some vanilla ice cream was available for on top. Cathy took the 1st piece, put a scoop of ice cream on it and slid it in front of Dave. Dave slid it back to her, saying “ladies first.” She slid it back and said he was the President. He slid it back, saying he was a gentleman, ladies first.

He told her that surely her baking wasn't that bad that she was afraid to eat it herself. With a nervous laugh, she stood up from her seat to the left of Dave. Striking faster than an angry striking Timber Rattlesnake, Dave's left forearm pinned her against the wall and his right hand had a razor sharp 8 inch Old Hickory butcher knife pressed against her throat. He could feel it digging into her skin and felt a trickle of blood running down her throat.

Everyone else grabbed their rifles. Li covering the door, Lian covering the window, York and Jones covering Cathy. Dave said that when she was in the line of women and he was talking with her, he noticed a small swastika tattoo high on her neck, almost behind her left ear, when the wind had blown her hair.

He said that York and Jones had some questions for her and he was sure she would love to answer them. Search her and take her away. Lian and Li were to quietly double the perimeter guards and put all military on high alert. He was going to remain put pf sight to see who notices.

Dave stayed out of sight if everyone. Only Yprk, Jones, Lian and Li knew where he was at in the White House. Granny had called for her weekly chat with him but he even refused to talk with her, in case the phones were being listened in on.

York and Jones had questioned Cathy. She was involved in the 4th Reich. She was just a low level member and didn't knpw much of their plans. Her only job was to get near him and deliver the pie for him to eat. The pie had been tested and there had been enough fast acting poison in it to kill 2 full grown grizzly bears.

York, Jones, Lian and Li were bringing him small portions of food and his mint tea. He was also asking advise on what he should do. He relaxed the level of the military so the troops didn't get burned out. His weekly Dave's Dialogue was due and York was the one speaking. York just said Dave was unavailable and regretted not being able to speak. Granny heard it and tried phoning Dave but was told the same message.

Dave was quietly busy behind the scenes. Through York and Jones, he was moving equipment around and beefing up the military bases. He was stockpiling millions of rounds of ammo at every base and the nation's ammo factories were running round the clock 24/7. Every soldier was carry twice the normal ammo load out including the troops at the White House.

Speculation was running rampant about why Dave missed his Dialogue and when he missed the 2nd one, rumors were wild.

2 weeks after Cathy's attempt on his life, Dave heard the battle alarms ringing out over the White House and grounds. He had barely been up long enough to visit the toilet and was thinking about his mint tea. Grabbing his FAL and his 2 bandoleers of magazines, giving him a total of 400 rounds of 7.62x51 ammo plus the 20 rounds in the magazine in his rifle, he headed for the front door.

York and Jones were already at the front door and stopped Dave there, saying they couldn't let him go on out. Dave was receiving reports and watching video from cameras mounted around the White House. There were at least 100 armored vehicles and a massive amount of troops approaching from all sides. Zooming in, the troops all had Bazi symbols and flying a Nazi flag.

Dave made the front door into his command post. He started Plan A which thistroops were aware of. The anto armor rocket launchers were uncovered and the “free fire” order was given. Barrages of rockets flew, destroying a lot of the oncoming vehicles but the Nazis were responding with their own weapons systems.

Dave had lost 1/3 of his rocket launcher positions and their crews. The Nazis were 500 yards out when he started Plan B. He had 3 nachibe gun nests of .30 caliber belt fed guns which were now uncovered and firing. They had interlocking fielsa of fire, had 5 man crews, extra barrels to change out and 20,000 rounds of 7.62x51 ammo. Nazi soldiers were being mowed down but still they kept coming.

Suddenly a flight of 5 Nazi helicopters came swooping in, firing rockets at the machine gun nests and destroying 3 of them. Dave's soldiers were firing the rockers at the helicopters, raking out 2 of the. One of the helicopters crashed, landing amongst the Nazis and killing 30 Nazi troops. The other though, crashed into Dave's troops. Killing 20. The rest of the helicopters left.

The Nazis were up close now and his men were firing non stop. Runners were taking new magazines to the troops and bringing back wounded soldiers. The Nazis would attack, pull back to regroup and attack again. Dead Nazis were piled up but still they kept coming. It was like a nightmare with an unending enemy. Dave had started with his force of 500 men but guessed he was down to 250 men that were able to fight. The enemy would soon be breaking through the ranks.

York told Dave they could probably get a chopper in to get him out. Looking around and then before they could stop him, Dave ran towards the battle line where the fighting was the heaviest. York, Jones, Lian and Li caught up to him just as he settled into a spot on the battle line. The heavy booming of Dave's FAL booming over the sound of M16s. His 4 bodyguards were on each side of him.

Every man had his rifle on semi auto to conserve ammo. Laying prone with the stump of his left arm supporting his FAL, he lined the sights up, squeezed a round off, rode the recoil onto another enemy and shot again. He shot 40 Nazus before they pulled back to regroup.

As the Nazis regrouped, word went down the battle line “Dave's here. Dave's here.” Their Commander in Chief was right there in the thickest of the battle, fighting at their side instead of leaving them behind and going somewhere safe. Dave said “In the words from a leader in a war movie, the enemy has us surrounded. We have them exactly where we want them.” Time to kick some tail. He saw his men firm their resolve to hold the line and kill the Nazi scum. The Nazis attacked again.

True leaders lead from the front

Thick swarms of bullets were flying. This was not a movie where the actors got back up at the end of the movie. Here men were dying in gruesome ways. Dave was using his FAL to good effect, it was impossible to miss in the mass of enemy troops cpming at them. The Nazis were slowed by the bodies of their dead cpmrades laying on the ground, making footing unstable. Their feet often slipping in the pools of blood on the ground.

Nazis were dying in front of Dave's Fal but still they came on. It reminded him of tales he had heard from Korean vets about waves of Chinese troops coming at them, their machine gun barrels actually turning red from heat, but the Chinese troops still coming at them in waves.

Grenades were being tossed by both sides, taking their tolls in men. Dave at already used 3 magazines before the Nazis retreated again. US medics were taking wounded back to be treated but many refused to be taken if they could still fire their rifles. They weren't going to leave their post when Dave was there.

After more waves of attacking Nazis, Dave was down to 5 remaining magazines. They were killing a lot of Nazis but his men were also swindling. He had lost Lian in the last wave of attack. A grenade had landed near to Dave and Lian had rolled on top of it a split secomd before it exploded, saving Dave's life.

This wave of attack was almost over running them. Dave gave the order to fall back, They were firing as they fell back. He saw Jones fall with a stitch of bullets up hos body, the last bullet ripping a hole in Jones head. They made it to the White House where Dave ordered another stand.
