In my The Shadow story, I've mentioned several times how he & Aaron are into D&D games. This is one of them that my 2 nephews and 1 of their friends played. Originally, it was typed, then when I got a computer, it got put there for prosperity. And yes, somewhere, I've got another two, maybe 3 adventures they went thru. Maybe someone can come up with a fantasy story instead of the normal, the world's going to end? Siswa was a village not far from Verbosh. And the boys came up with their own character names. Rahasia was where an evil magic user had enslaved people and elves, with the boys getting rid of, but not killing him. (Bad guys know when to beat feet in my games.) Thoughts?

Verbosh and In Search Of The Unknown
Had an over nighter with the game in 4 parts. First part was in Verbosh, the 2nd in the module. Mathew rolled 2 new characters for the module. By paying so much on the tower and land, we finally own it. About 8-12 characters will run an adventure in the tower, so gotta make that all up in the next few weeks. Didn’t know what happened to Steve’s 2 characters, Gunny & Nick, so had them working the city guard detail. Skorg & Geek were brought into Verbosh by Tiffany and another party. Takona resur-
rects them. Both are broke/unarmed. Geek goes to church for help (he‘s a paladin) and is accepted. Skorg goes looking for a job, hired as a city guard on a trial basis for 1 week--but with out pay. He runs into Gunny/Nick who thinks Skorg has a warrant out on him, so they signal a passing city guard team to take him. A magic user uses a sleep spell on Skorg. The sergeant of the guard tells them that Skorg is okay, but isn’t happy with them, so assigns Gunny & Skorg to the sewer detail for prisoners. One of the party thinks he saw the magic user from the Siswa village and they track him to the Troll Trident Inn. Skorg ends up going in to check it out, but is nervous about it all and leaves after a bit. When he tries to pick up with the party, they move away. This is where Skorg met Gunny/Nick. Party is talking things over when they notice about 12 brown robes on both sides of them. Party beats feet for the city guard station. Skorg/Gunny go relieve sewer guards, Gunny also has a problem--sewage is knee deep to him! Day is finally over, so they take the prisoners back to the prison and go to clean themselves up. But are told to clean themselves up outside because they smell so bad. Skorg/Gunny get into an argument with Skorg pushing for a fight. Well, someone offers to heat up water for Skorg’s bath, who accepts. Skorg comes out of the tub with his skin a deep yellow, purple hair and some brown/green splotches. Well, it ends up with Skorg quitting the city guard and asking for help at his church. He’s accepted there. Mathews other character (Ron) is still lost in the forest. He’s attacked by a giant lynx, but is able to run away from it. He tries climbing a tree, but falls out of it and doesn’t wake up until the next day. When he wakes up, he hears a voice, but there’s nothing in sight. This voice tells him there’s an elven village 3 days away. But due to low constitution (h.p.’s lost earlier), it’ll take him about 12 days. Voice leads him to a berry bush & Ron gets sick from it. Finds another bush of berries which are okay to eat. He had one wandering monster (a giant) which was driven off by Rons unseen companion. Ron decides to build a fire to cook a rabbit his unseen companion left for him, which unfortunately, it got out of control and the forest is ablaze. Johnathon has 1 character at the Rahasia village, helping them rebuild the village, planting crops, etc. His other character (turned into stone from an earlier adventure) is now missing from the village square. The pedestal it stood on has 2 big pieces cracked from it and there’s a gouge on one side of the pedestal. He doesn’t know what to do.
Other party members in Verbosh decide to check out rumors of a dungeon south of them. The party is:
NPC: Meetai, cleric, human male
NPC: Elizabeth, fighter, human female
Mathew: Janee, paladin, human female
Mathew: Michael, fighter, dwarf male
Steve: Deric, cleric, ½ elf male
Steve: Freddy, fighter, human male
Johnathon: Matt, fighter, human male
Johnathon: Rupert, fighter/thief, elf male
It takes the party 11 days (on horseback) to reach the general area of the dungeon and 4 days to actually find it. Party leaves the horses in a corral they build. Rupert’s been here before, so he knows of a secret passage way to another corridor. They haven’t been here before--or at least they don’t remember any of it. Checking one corridor (by room 21) and got scared when they see something with a lot of legs. Head down different corridor till they get by room 10 and are attacked by 5 giant rats. Checked the rats and 2 have rabies. Party kills the rats and Janee does a cure disease on Freddy. Party goes down corridor which rooms 10, 9, 8 and 2 cover. While 2 party members check out room 2, party is attacked by 4 zombies. Meetai turns one, but 2nd one attacks Michael with a critical---stunned for 1 round. Other zombie gets turned by Meetai and party kills them with arrows.
Party decides not to check zombies out for fear of rot grubs. But then the zombies just disappear. Party goes to check out room 3 with bad results. Freddy opens the door (or goes to) so Matt can see what’s inside with the lantern. A stone block falls on Freddy who is just alive. A couple of quick cures gets him back on his feet. Argument between everyone on who gets to check the door area for traps---Rupert is selected, but he doesn‘t find anything. However, Michael is able to. While talking (loudly), the party is hit by 6 orcs. Oh--Rupert set off a trap of some kind in the tunnel which curves. Anyway, 3 orcs attack with first attack by 1 orc on Meetai is critical/permanent death. Michael kills that orc while the party kills 2 more orcs. The other 3 orcs run away. But Freddy falls into a pit and is gone from sight. He fell due to a fumble and missing his dexterity roll. Deric also falls in. Party decides to follow after missing members, but enthusiasm is dimmed when rope holding Matt comes loose.
