I'm a member over Frugal Squirrels and for whatever reason the fiction section that has always been one of my favorite things about the site has been discontinued.
i followed a link to here and have high hopes that I'm in at the birthing of a great new site.

I sure hope so Manny, be sure to pass this site along to readers and writers. Hopefully we can make this as popular as Frugals Fiction section was. We really need more writers here, so please tell any writers you know about this site.
I put the link in my signature section at Frugals and a couple other boards I post at. Feel free to do the same anywhere you feel comfortable doing it.

Wanted to say thanks as well. Will try to transfer a story I wrote a while back later.
ETA: Well, it may be a while. I didn't keep any kind of hard copy, and now I am having a hard time finding it on other boards where I think I posted it. I'll keep trying.

You're welcome Nancy. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but frugals closing the fiction section is what finally pushed me over the edge.
We need to get a few more stories up pretty quickly though. Thanks to Jerry for posting, hope to see more.

Admin, I'd like to donate more than the $7 that is on the contribute checkout. Is there a way to do that or do I just donate more than once to get to the amount I want to help out with?
We DO want this board to be add free!!! Or at least I do. LOL
I don't mind adds from members that have goods or services to sell. But that's just my HOP.

I nearly had the "big one" when I went to Frugal's today, and no Writing Squirrels section! Luckily, I checked Dare to Prepare's site, and saw that Jerry D. Young had linked to here. Don't know what happened, but hope the old gang at Frugal's will be headed here...

Are they annoying? I checked into it and its $7.00 per 50,000 views per month with the amount not carrying over each month. Could get expensive. I certainly not going to say no, but at this point I don't want to say yes either - yet. What does everyone else think? |

Thanks for your works and starting this site. I used to be at FS way before the current owner and his mishandling of it. Have not darkened the door over there in several years. Miss the people but many have migrated to minionreport.net and settled in. Just finished "not good" and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have picked up lots of hints/ideas over the years from your writings and others. You have a gift and am glad you use it. wc/06
