A chuckle:
Reading about Little Man's bow woke up a sleeping neuron.
Several years ago I got the notion that I wanted to kill a deer using a bow and an arrow that I had made from scratch.
A friend at work had a son around two and was an avid bow hunter. I made Taylor a small bow from one of the larger pieces of trimmings. Then we decided that the large sized bamboo Kabob skewers would make some good arrows. His mom made him a quiver and a bow case.
He loved it. Eating and sleeping with it type of loving it. The Halloween that Taylor was three a friend of his father was dressed as a werewolf and opened the door to see Taylor in his Indian outfit.
Taylor saw the werewolf and started shouting “Coyote! Coyote! Coyote!” each shout was accompanied by an arrow being shot at the werewolf.
The costume was thick enough to almost stop the arrows. His mom got a video of the whole thing. Taylor got his arrows glued into the quiver and my buddy and I got nibbled on a little bit. It was loads of fun.
