They just don't get it do they? Every gun control law offered up will have 2 consequences. 1. Get more sheeple killed by bad guys. 2. Make otherwise law abiding citizens into criminals. I keep asking a simple question. How many laws are enough?

I've often thought, while Leviticus through Numbers is filled with Minutia, Basically God limited himself to Ten Commandments. Governments aren't as wise or as powerful as God. Lets give them (10x10)+the original 10+1 Bonus. That makes 111 Laws. But we'll let the Federal Govt have 111 Laws and the State Govt can have an additional 111 Laws. A.} No trying to cover two different acts with one super long Law. Basically: You have to state your Law in 200 Words or Less. To be fair, you can use leftover words in other Laws—not to exceed 250 words regardless. Plus you get about two pages of normal-sized text to comment on each Law. B.} Any Law that cannot be understood by the average Literate Citizen will be ruled Void. C.} Anything abridging the Bill of Rights is Void. So basically, all the Federal Laws and commentary will fit into a book of less than 250 Pages as will all the State Laws. To be an Attorney, a man must know the 111 Federal Laws and the 111 Laws of his state from memory—though not necessarily Verbatim. Whenever the Legislature wants to pass a New Law—Once they're up to 111, they have to erase one Law from the Books to enter a new one. Anyone—here is a Grand Premise for a Science Fiction Story.Feel Free…And if 144 or 77 or 55 trips your hammer better than my 111 Go For It! …..RVM45

If people understood their own power, jury nullification would void a lot of useless laws. I personally would never convict ANYONE of a violation of the NFA of 1934, nor any of the gun control laws that followed.

Just how many ways can you rationally interpret "...shall not be infringed."?

Just how many ways can you rationally interpret "...shall not be infringed."? Just one. Exactly the way the Founding Fathers wrote it.
