I wish I had the bucks to spare. Unfortunately I have too much tied up in inventory that I have not yet gotten into shape for sale. I have four radios to finish modifying and prepping. I also have a couple of other things I got at auction that I need to repair and prep.
There is an online auction here that has a couple of vendors that have Amazon returns. I did real well on several items. A couple of the items were things that I needed for personal use. They were fine other than the box being damaged.

I've looked at the "Amazon returns" auctions but don't have a good place to put a pallet of things needing attention (other than my side of the garage) and the window A/C out there can't keep up with 90+ temperatures. At the moment, I couldn't manage to work on things bigger or heavier than a pack of hot dog buns :-( I could probably fix a lot of the simple things. Electric fans and heaters are so basic that you wonder how someone can have a problem with it - although there is a heater in the basement waiting for a replacement plug. Just can't work up the energy to stand on concrete to fix a heater when I'm trying to stay cool. And I know that I see fans and heaters on Craig's List regularly. Saw a Razor electric scooter this week: "Used to work but don't have the charger". If you do a little research, you can find UL wall warts much cheaper than Razor's chargers and mouser.com has every power connector you might need. Yeah, I understand how it works but I need a more functional body - maybe a transplant from a healthy 50-year-old?
Sent the surgeon's PA a long note about this week's experiences with the pain patch so the PA will have some reading for Tuesday morning ;-) I think we'll come to an agreement that I should progress up through the various strengths of pain patches until we hit one that handles the pain 90% of the time, if not more. I don't mind carrying a bottle of "just in case" hydrocodone tablets if I only need them one or two times a week. The current pain patch (lowest dose) has failed me almost daily. At least I have the daily pain vs med log that I've been keeping for more than a year so we have a solid basis to work from.
You do know that Amazon puts returned toilet paper back on sale under the heading "Used and Returns"? I've posted that link at least once but it still seems funny every time I see it ;-)

None of the stuff I bought was by the pallet, although there are several vendors selling the pallets at auction. Most of what I got was damaged boxes. There was one where I got 15 items, my choice, from a group of gaylords. That cost me $3.00. It was all tools or tool related (Performance Tools brand). I got several different multimeters, one of which had several automotive functions such as engine tachometer. I got both things to use and things to repackage and sell. I was needing some new leads, and three of the four meters had them. The test leads alone were worth a lot more than $3.
Good luck on the pain patches. I hope you are able to get the pain situation worked out satisfactorily.
