Wow! This one kept me up WAY too late reading it. Thanks for giving the old guys credit in this story.  There are a lot of rousing good stories around with young heroes, and they are a lot of fun, but the old folks are the ones who have had the time to think out these issues and act on them. This made me feel like maybe someday when I'm gone, the kids will inherit some of my preps and be grateful that the old man used his head for something besides a hat rack. |
