Don't laugh. Personally, when I had to wear Steel Toed Safety Shoes at work, I laced one Boot up with an Extra-Wide Lime Green Fluorescent Lace, and the other Boot with An Electric Violet. (Laugh at the above, If'n ya wanna--it is funny.) (Why did I do that? It was a way of declaring all-out War on the forces of Nebulosity.) But this guy with all his silly knots, and silly lacing schemes has several knots and lacing methods that might do you good. I especially recommend that you learn the lesson on how to lace and tie your shoe one-handed. If the day ever comes that your all alone, with a field expedient splint on one wrist..... Also, some of the Lacing Schemes Put differing amounts of pressure on different parts of the foot. Out of several hundred laces and knots, you might find six to eight useful ones. Also, they're Phun!www.fieggen.com/shoelace/index.htmAnd check out these Laces. Notice the boot laces that test at about 2500 Pounds and are said to wear out two or three pairs of Boots..... They'd Make a Rockin' Garrote wouldn't they? www.biglaces.com/RVM45
