I'm sure there will be folks with much more interesting tales to tell tham mine.
Thunderstorms, heavy rain, wind, several possible tornadoes - but most of it west, south and north of us. Well to the west in Alabama, there were at least 7 tornadoes, including one reported on the ground for 90 minutes. To the south, there's one radar image with winds at 84MPH in one direction, 78MPH in the opposite direction 1/2 mile away - pictures from the area show roads completely blocked by downed trees. The alert level there was "Tornado Emergency" which is higher than the usual "Tornado Warning".
We're still under a "Tornado Watch" for perhaps another hour or so and the hourly forecast has "Heavy Thunderstorms" about 2 hours out, which the weather radar confirms with a still-active storm headed our way.
We have family in/near a couple of areas that had tornadoes / high winds and we'll check on them after daylight - if they have cell service, they'll have "We're OK" on Facebook.
Looks like we dodged the bullet this time - so far, a liitle thunder, some brief and heavy rain but not even a flicker on power and no obvious limbs down - I'll be able to tell more about that in the morning.
