So what books are you reading or have read recently that you particularly enjoyed? (besides the fiction here of course ) I'm about halfway through 'The Jefferson Project' by Thor Duffin Great story so far, its hard to put it down. Its a fictional story, but one that goes to the roots of this countries problems and offers thoughtful solutions through the characters in the story. I downloaded it to my Kindle 2 nights ago and am about halfway through it.

I just recently read JDY's Expedition. If you haven't read it, it is worth every penny of the $15. It is a fun read - one I couldn't put down. I love that his books are pdf and I can load them on my Nook.
Not so fun a read, I read Eaarth. It is sobering, to say the least.

Been trying to re-read "Atlas Shrugged." It seems to scream todays' headlines.
Wonder if the people trying to bring down the U.S. used it as a guidebook?

I have started to read Atlas Shrugged a couple of times but never seem to get far. I think it is just too thick and the print too small. lol! I get distracted too much too. I am currently trying to read -A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity, by Bill O'Reilly. I like his books. but it taking me awhile, again keep getting distracted by the little things like life, work, grands, etc.....
