The second title flows better, but out of context it is hard to say which one is more fitting. You could also be less specific..."The Apocalypse Within" or some such.

I agree that the second flows better.

Thanks.
I have some of the story, just need to polish it - considering my muses, that might be months :-(

Have you tried Brasso?
Seriously, your muse needs to step up to the plate. She's getting lazy.

What can I say? The dark chocolate M&M's are out, there's mint chocolate ice cream in the freezer (plus some French Vanilla) and the Hershey's Special Dark syrup in the fridge. Chocolate chip cookies (crunchy and chewy this week) plus some fresh strawberries.
I have gotten a few hundred words this month (it's day 14 so almost half the month gone) but other than an idea about publishing some things in a different genre (I write more than just TTEOCAWKI - The Temporary End Of Civilization As We Know It). I have some other short stories that are looking for a place but so many things are unfinished :-(
Maybe I can put together a collection titled "I Wish I knew How It Ended"? I probably have 40,000+ words of unfinished stories in that category and anyone who bought that book title could not complain...
Maybe sell it as a DIY novel? Have 10 blank pages after each story and let the reader write their own ending?
Maybe give away each story separately but sell the key that allows the reader to add an ending to that story? Then allow them to change the author line to my name and their name like most of the James Patterson books: by "James Patterson and <whoever>"
Anything that might fly?

The 2nd choice sounds like science fiction. The best choice will be determined by your story

"I Wish I knew How It Ended" might also be a suicide letter from someone who couldn't face what he/she sees as a pending apocalypse.
Have a nicely laid out procession of events and circumstances leading up to a potential SHTF confrontation on a defined date and the story ends the day before the confrontation. Hemlock, cyanide, overdose of insulin, rope, firearm, explosives?
Maybe I should set up a page on my website that sells story titles and ideas? Might be a lot less work than writing 40,000+ words to have what I consider a full length novel - but some of the stories did exceed that size a bit: Coming Storms 60242 Prelude to the Apocalypse: Dark Days 81208 Homestead 131000 Just Another Voicemail 134000 Accidental Family 173803 Jack's War 1 182000 Jack's War 2 318000
"Jack's War" 1 & 2 together are 500,000 words: almost as long as "War and Peace".
