They do not meet next year's emission standards. I have never used one from Home Depot and I cannot say if there are any good or not.

Most of the local HD's online listings are electric (AC, battery) with the gas "tillers" being the 40-50cc 2-cycle 9-10" width tiller. Bet they won't be giving the old ones away on freecycle.org now :-(
