There's a doom-and-gloom video on YouTube about "Feds have said..." that's probably more smoke than the fire from the 26" pipeline produced and I've identified another YouTube "prepper" to take with a grain of salt: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp4cm6eoV4AThe report from Reuters is probably more accurate than any of the others I saw: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vp4cm6eoV4AIt basically says "The feed to the LNG terminal for export has been shut down." "Export" with "LNG" in this case is what is sold and moved by ship. No words about any shortages to the northeast US. Another paragraph defines that pipeline is shut down: Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s Cove Point said in a note to customers that gas supplies from Columbia Gas’s Loudoun (VA) LNG interconnect were currently at or near zero.Cove Point, which can get gas from other pipes, was on track to pull in about 0.4 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) of gas on Wednesday, down from an average of 0.8 bcfd in the months prior to the Columbia pipeline incident. Yes, the damaged pipeline is shut down. No, there's no comment from law enforcement about the cause. No, I didn't find anything on the FEMA website or from any other "official" site about the northeast US being without natural gas. Yes, I think Chicken Little is making videos and crying "Wolf!". No, I didn't watch all the video because I stopped it and went to do my own research a minute or two in. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
