I would love to have a couple of those. Unfortunately I have not won the Powerball or Mega Millions jackpots.

They are sold out...
Is Woot pretty good? I never heard of it till i saw some of your posts from them. Is it seconds and refurbs or inventory clearance items?

Woot is the liquidation side of Amazon. It's where Amazon clearances discontinued or soon to be discontinued items. Also occasionally overstock items.

Be sure to read the fine print, as with any online purchase ;-) They are usually specific about the condition: refurb, whatever. Check the small print for warranty or return specifics on that item. The most desirable items are often available in small quantities which is why there are "midnite on dd mmm" notes in the ads. All the things I've purchased from them have been as advertised, such as the Kindle ereader that gets a lot of use - it can hold dozens of 800 page books and still be carried in one hand ;-) Amazon doesn't want to have a "Used, returned, refurbished" section on their main website so Woot.com is their answer. You can have a separate Woot ID or use your Amazon ID there.

Papa, I had forgotten about the used and refurbished they sometimes have. Thank you for pointing that out.

Thanks. I'll have to log in to it and look around. Can you set it up to alert in certain categories or you just have to pop on and browse?

I don't remember anything useful such as an alerter. I check it almost daily.
