This is a fantastic story! Suburban Gardener, I hope you can continue with it; I really want to find out what happens to everyone.

The stars must be aligned!! I too am a guy who enjoys cooking. In fact I just set my bread aside for the first rise. I will throw in with your lot as well. I am a stay at home dad and my twins turn there nose up if their nan tries to give them "regular" bread, thanks Nana but can we have some like daddy's next time?

First off I have enjoyed all of the chapters submitted so far. Pretty damned good writing if I may say so myself! However by noting the dates of the previous posts it has been a while since the last submission.
Please submit more chapters asap. I am having withdrawal symptoms!

I'm on board in the quest for more. What's here so far is good.

While there isn’t much here that your average thief would take… well, you never know.” With another glare at Steiner, he motioned to his partner and they went back to their car. “A dozen rolls of that reinforcing mesh, and some of that 2” steel pipe, and we’ll be ready to go.” Archie instructed, as if nothing had happened. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Sorry to see this story stopped. Thought it was developing nicely but see the author hasn't been on in almost 7 years so guess seeing it completed isn't gonna happen.

It was a good story. Damn, I'd like to see it finished too! Maybe someone else could finish it?

It was a good story. Damn, I'd like to see it finished too! Maybe someone else could finish it? Sorry, but I have enough work finishing my own stories and I had at least some idea where where they were going when I started them. Don't think that I could do justice to someone else's ideas unless they handed me a detailed outline and description of characters for the whole thing... I know that "Picking up the thread" doesn't always work well. Susan Gregerson's daughter (daughter-in-law?) finished her last book and there was a strong sense of someone else's writing and doing something out of obligation and not enjoyment in that part of the book. If a family member who writes can't pick up the thread, what could a stranger do with it? The writer would also need good knowledge of the area.
