This thing is no Beauty..... But it weighs less than a pound; Takes down to 17"; Converts to a Rod and Reel. Might be a good Survival Gadget to use in a story..... .....RVM45

Link? Or something you thought up? Interesting, either way, and a great concept. Not my area of expertise, but I saw some sort of takedown .22 advertised about 20 years ago--barrel fit into the buttstock, etc. I think it was a semiauto, and maybe held 7 to 10 rounds. Fine for many situations. Now, it you can FISH with it too.....

Thank you. As someone that once owned a Hi Point carbine I was very impressed to see something even uglier. For some strange reason I want one now though. Probably just cause I like stuff that's different since I have no use for it.

The rod and reel look separate from the rifle. You can get a good travel rod for $18 to $30, www.ganderoutdoors.com/fishing/fishing-rods/travel-rods, and a matching reel. While I have carried rifles while fishing, I would not think it would be safe to be using a loaded one to fish with, especially one without a trigger guard.
