abcnews.go.com/US/unaccounted-injured-explosion-rocks-atlanta-area-apartment-complex/story?id=79976802Typical of MSM, this report doesn't get simple things correct: "A leasing manager called Atlanta Gas prior to the explosion about a reported gas order" No, that was "gas ODOR", which had been reported by others at the complex during the previous week. Maybe ABC got their report via text and auto-correct (or the person reporting) didn't understand "odor"? Police also reported "a strong smell of gas" when they arrived after the explosion. Lots more reports out there. Search for: explosion in Dunwoody September 12 Regardless of where the incompetence lies for this event, if you smell gas, you should exit the area. Various reports have 2 to 4 transported to a hospital and 1 or 2 unaccounted for. They might have that sorted out tomorrow... The FD was using a drone with heat imaging (think FLIR) to search the portion of the wreckage they couldn't enter because it was too unstable. Georgia Power has 9 outages in that area due to "an incident" - so I guess "incident" is their term for explosion/fire. Maybe the apartment rent includes power? Otherwise, I'd expect a lot more meters out while they're searching for a gas leak in an apartment complex with 4 three-story buildings. I did notice in the pictures and videos that all the police/fire/EMT vehicles were out on the street and NOT on the roads of the complex - keeping potential ignition sources well away from the escaping gas. How much hysteria would have been generated if this had happened yesterday, on the 20th anniversary of 9/11?
