While John was gathering up the supplies of the soldiers, he was listening to 1 of the radios they had. He could hear a mixture of English and Chinese speaking voices. Some was definitely English speaking but the person responding in English had Chinese accents. Others were strictly in Chinese.
He gathered all food supplies and put them in his backpack. The weapons he noticed were AK47s and they were the good ones with milled receiver blocks and were full auto capable. He cached the weapons. The uniforms and boots were too small so he left them on the bodies. The bodies he stashed in the underbrush.
John thought about keeping one of the radios so he could listen in but after a moment's hesitation, turned it off and tossed them into the brush. He was sure that they would be just like cell phones and would be pinging out a signal of where the radio was at. He didn't want to be tracked by a radio. He had spent too much time in the area. Time to put some distance between it and him.

John needs some tattered clothes covered in blood and gore, plus some glow-in-the-dark powder - and to visit the preacher after midnight ;-) Maybe a little later - 0230± - usually too late even for the stay-up crowd but too early for the early-risers
