Sometimes it's good to live in an unicorporated area where there are few sidewalks and you must hire or do your own garbage service. I'm also pleased the screened porch (with a brick half-wall and a concrete floor) has space underneath it that is totally underground.
I do need to mount a few more solar-powered, motion triggered outside lights.

Just a comment about life. During the early stage when there was some shortages I got some "not Charmin" TP. I have had softer leaves in the woods then this stuff. It is worse then store brand. Not sure if I shoould poat the brand but the Mods can let me know.

Not sure if I shoould poat the brand but the Mods can let me know. Folks review guns and vehicles so I see no problem with naming a brand of sandpaper ;-) When I have the option, I'll spend the usually few cents per roll difference to buy a known success.

Ok it is Scott, single ply, septic approved, forest friendly, and supported by the environmentalists to protect the animals.

1) It's single ply which generally means it will be stiffer than 2 ply. 2) It's "eco-friendly" which often means they're using that claim to offset some negative aspect.
The same California environmentalists who whined when the state stopped allowing them to buy 3 ply for state buildings? You wonder how much of that was subject to "stock shrinkage" as they took it home with them...
Does the Scott do a good job sanding balsa wood?
From the grocery or Costco brick-and-mortar, I'd pick Northern (1st) or Charmin (2nd). From Costco business, case of 48 individually wrapped Marathon 2 ply, 470 sheets 4.5" by 4". One year supply of Marathon for two adults fits under a twin bed and is invisible with the bedskirt down.

Went to town early yesterday, like was there before 0800. Little over half the folks were masked, even though all stores had signs sayin' Governor Nuisance mandated 'em. Didn't notice any strange looks at me bein' un-masked. Did a bit of shoppin, used Library's wi-fi for a bit, filled the ol' truck's gas tank and came home, all before 1100. Maybe next time, the Governor's hybrid LEO enforcement task force will snag me.

Went to the local grocery for the better half. Spent about 30 minutes going through the list and adding a few things on sale. Got home to discover that they's split my order on the belt and the next person would up with the bananas, the soup and the Diet Coke - they also had it on their receipt as it wasn't on mine. Guess next time I'll put the plastic dividers on both ends of my stuff. Did get the $5 off that I got an email about earlier in the day.
Soups were thin, with a note on the shelf about the supplier having production problems. There was also a "Limit of two of the same item" signs on the soup aisle. Saw the same "production" note somewehere else. The bread aisle had very limited hamburger buns - still behind from last weekend? Lots of bags in the salad section; the banana display was full. Looked for Chapstick in the Pharmacy and at checkout but didn't see any.
I'll be back out in a day or two to buy gas. Didn't stop tonight as the better half was concerned that I "only" had an hour for shopping so I didn't drive the half mile for 11 cents a gallon cheaper gas. I was out the door 30 minutes before the grocery closed so I would have had plenty of time but didn't stop on the way home because of frozen foods in the bags. We'll probably need something from that direction in the next week so I'll take the truck and fill it then.
Mixed bag on the masks. Some adults, Some kids. The maybe 7-8 year old in the checkout line behind me had dark hair with pink and grren highlights and pretty eyes - the mask hid the rest of her face. All the employees. We're old so we're always masked when out.

We wear them when we go out as we are in the high risk group. Not seeing many not wearing them.

I guess if I considered myself in the high risk group I might worry, but seein' as I ain't but 72 and only havin' smoked off-and-on for about 55 of those years my health is pretty good. Besides I consider myself on borrowed time since '68 so when my time comes... it'll be my appointed time.

They are still at it. Some where between 14 and 17 people were shot at a wake. There were police there but it was an ambush style drive by.
The police have taken some 5700 guns off the streets this year but the corrupt officials are letting the felons out the next day.

Ignorant, idiot nanny state: "They might get Covid-19 in jail."
Put the entire gang in one cell and let it happen. Consider it proper punishment for those who put so little value on other people's lives.

More for Monday night 22 and 2. There was a 10 month old shot in the head in the car with his mother yesterday in broad daylight. Last I heard he was still alive.
